Our dying lawn: Can it be resuscitated?

This morning Abe realized our lawn is dying. We thought our pest control guy, who also works on our lawn, had turned on the sprinklers, but apparently they’re broken. I am not observant enough to realize that our lawn has been slowly turning brown for the past couple weeks, but I guess Abe has suspected something is wrong, and this morning he realized that without immediate action, we would have to re-seed the entire lawn.

Our lovely neighbor lent us a sprinkler, and it’s been going all day. Right now Abe is outside changing its position for the umpteenth time.

The only other exciting thing that happened today was I got to have hot flashes all day long. That was fun.

I was, once again, out of commission for most of the evening. I tried to read the girls books and had to stop halfway through one book because I was gasping for air after every sentence. Abe painted with the girls and read to them until bedtime.
I was, once again, out of commission for most of the evening. I tried to read the girls books and had to stop halfway through one book because I was gasping for air after every sentence. Abe painted with the girls and read to them until bedtime. Today both girls were…fragile. That meant Abe had to work twice as hard to stave off tantrums. I just love that man so much.
