Abe and I stayed up until 2 am watching\u00a0The Aviator<\/em>. It was really good, but we were really tired today.
\n<\/em><\/p>\n

Once we finally got ourselves going this morning, we headed over to the gym to swim. This was the first time we have swum together since I was pregnant with Lydia. Ever since then, whenever we’ve gone to the pool, we have taken turns alternating between making sure the kids don’t drown and doing laps. Today we dropped the kids off at childcare and had fun swimming together.<\/p>\n

Then we did errands and came home to scarf down lunch before heading off to the temple. Since the Provo temple is closed, we decided to go to the new Payson temple. Abe hadn’t seen it yet. Apparently, everyone in Utah Valley had the same idea as we did. I was happy to see the temple so busy, but I had to wait almost an hour and a half just do four initiatories. Abe had to wait so long that he got scared I was already done and ended up leaving without doing anything at all. Our new plan is to go to the Provo temple the week it reopens. Third time’s the charm!<\/p>\n

We have been living off of bagel sandwiches lately. I have been getting a dozen bagels every week from Einstein’s Bagels, and we just zip right through them. This was lunch.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

I wish my natural inclination would be to look at this picture and think about how sweet it was to visit the temple with my husband…but my natural immediate instinct is to mourn the loss of my chin line. Pregnancy is really rough when I already have major body-image issues. I hope someday to not care at all about these things.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Abe took the girls on an after-dinner run while I opted to clean the air-conditioned house. Unfortunately, Mary was the only child who transitioned straight to bed. Lydia is currently sitting on my lap watching the fireworks in our neighborhood. It’s very sweet, but it’s definitely past her bedtime, and she is exhibiting no signs of impending tiredness…<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
