I was sorting the kids papers today and I also received a copy of the photo taken of me and Martha Stewart at X4, so today there is a smorgasbord of photos to share
Lydia has really taken off recently with her art. Below is a brochure for a school project as well as a design she made for Foothill’s yearbook. Unfortunately we did not submit the picture (mostly parental mistake we feel awful about), but we are so proud of the work she did, and Lydia was nice about the miss and happy that her friend’s picture was selected for the yearbook.
Below Clarissa copied a picture that Lydia gave her. I was amazed at how good it was and almost didn’t believe Clarissa did it at her age.
I recently got this picture from X4. Some customers we were hosting got their picture with Martha Stewart and I happened to be in line with them, so I got my picture too! It wasn’t meaningful in the sense that I didn’t get to know her at all. She did ask where I was from, and when she asked how she looked before the photo was taken, I said, “you look great.” and she clarified that only her make-up assistant is allowed to answer that question, lol. Still, kind of a neat thing to have a moment and a photo with such a famous person. She seemed really nice.
