On Friday night after our date, Mary woke up and came into our room writhing in pain. She was in so much pain that she threw herself around the room, clutching her stomach and crying out in agony. She said she didn’t need to throw up, so Abe and I assumed she had appendicitis. We took her to the ER.
As soon as the doctor saw her, Mary threw up and started feeling better. It was probably the most expensive vomit ever. We signed her out, took her home, and she fell back asleep.
I only slept two hours because two hours later Clarissa woke up and Mary started vomiting again. After that I was awake all night communing with the Spirit, so I was basically good for nothing on Saturday.
On Saturday morning Lydia had her Spring harp recital. She did an incredible job!
Tom drove down for the recital, so he, Abe, Clarissa, and Lydia went out for frozen yogurt afterward.
Then in the evening Abe and I went to a scripture study at a BYU professor’s house while my mom attended a concert at the Blosil’s. (The kids had a sitter.) The scripture study lasted FOUR HOURS and was the most incredible scripture study we have ever experienced. We spent four hours on two verses of the Book of Mormon. At first the study went at such lightning speed that Abe and I had literally no idea what was going on. There are really no words to describe the experience, but we are hooked.
