Tuesday was Lydia’s first day of school! My phone won’t let me take any more pictures, so I don’t have one of Lydia. 🙁 But I wouldn’t have had time to take a before school picture because, believe it or not, we were almost late to school already. You would think I would be on top of the schedule since it’s the very beginning of the year, but no, we got caught in traffic and Lydia was one minute late. Thankfully the public school seems much more easy going than Arches, and there were still lots of people pulling up. She raced out of the car was soooo excited to meet everyone and go to school!
At school they made play dough, which she memorized the recipe for, and she made a new friend, Lennon. She said it was one of the best days of her life. That is music to my ears.
Abe got home around 6:30pm, and we were so happy to have him home. I’m pretty sure that we had ice cream for dinner that night. Lydia had a group harp lesson this day and for that entire 90 minutes I drove around getting gas, going through the car wash, and just killing time so I wouldn’t have to figure out how to deal with Clarissa out of her car seat while Ammon slept in his.
