Lately Lydia has been listening to the How to Train your Dragon audiobooks. She gets scared very easily. Even though these are comedic books with characters that have names like “fishlegs, snotload, hiccup”, there still is action and drama and Lydia finds herself getting very scared at times. Puss is her comfort object that she has had since she was born. It’s very sweet that she still uses him. She used to suck on his nose when she was very little as you might be able to tell from the picture. A time or two, she got so spooked from How to Train your Dragon, that she came down to our bed to be comforted. She’s such a sweet ans sensitive girl.
Today Lily did a cupcake activity with the children. It was incredibly stressful for them, but I’m certain the kids all had a wonderful time.
The final product was not only an explosion of color and beauty, but it was so so delicious. Lily wanted to throw all the extras that weren’t immediately eaten in the trash because she’s trying to avoid sugar, but Georgia and I kept them in a secret stash 🙂
