I have a mountain of laundry on my bed standing betwixt me and my bedtime, so I’ll make this quick! Today was a terrific day. I deep cleaned the house, cooked dinner, chauffeured, read the kids a ton of books, remembered to take pictures, read some of my new books, and did a whole bunch of laundry. Why can’t every day be like today? Oh, that’s right. Life. Life gets between me and rockstardom!
But here are pictures from a day where pretty much everything went right.
Lydia invented a new sandwich! Grilled cheese with a fruit roll-up inside. Personally, I’ll pass, but both girls LOVED it.
The house smelled like yesterday’s food, so I simmered this for hours upon hours, and by the end of the day, it smelled great! (Well, that and I deep cleaned everything. I even conditioned all the leather. I wasn’t joking–those smells from yesterday were offensive!)One way we get Mary to stay on the potty…I made smoked salmon croque monsieurs and a kale salad for dinner. Again, I didn’t really enjoy my cooking, but Abe thinks the reason I haven’t liked any food for the past couple days is because I’m pregnant. I don’t think I’m pregnant, but he’s convinced that I am and blames my critical taste buds on that. The sandwiches did look pretty, though.

For FHE we had a dance party. Lydia wanted Abe to swing her high in the air. Mom, I hope these pictures don’t make you wet your pants. Lydia and Abe had a lot of fun.
