The girls ran around for ten minutes celebrating their oranges. I often fear they are spoiled, and so that was a very refreshing way to start the day.Showing their oranges and candy canes to Bahzi.

It was a wonderful surprise because it certainly hadn’t snowed a bit when we went to bed at 2 am, and then we woke up to this!I spent the whole day cooking. The desserts.I made braised lamb, pommes dauphine, kale salad, and rolls. Abe and I spent an hour peeling chestnuts for chestnut soup before we called i quits. All the chestnuts were rotten!
