phobia pass-down

At 3 am last night, Lydia woke up screaming hysterically because she thought she was covered in bugs. We took her into bed with us, and she proceeded to break down into hysterical sobs for the next two hours.

I felt terrible because I know she got the tendency towards phobia from me, and Abe felt frustrated because he now has to deal with a wife AND a daughter who have phobias that detach them from reality. Eventually Lydia fell asleep, but we coached her all day on what to do if nightmares or her imagination get the best of her again tonight. Fingers crossed we all sleep through the night!

Abe took a couple pictures today.

Lydia fell asleep on our post-dinner walk. All that middle-of-the-night panic must have worn the poor thing out.

I was amazing and microwaved cheese on bread for the girls' dinners tonight. Oh, and a pickle. We are all going crazy for pickles around here recently, not that I know why...

And here’s a video of Mary doing a somersault. Lydia claims at the end she’s going to do one too, but she’s our careful child and ended up just climbing over onto the bed. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CZP_W4J-Rac
